Summary:
Receives visitors, answers phone, conducts clerical duties, and maintains mail reports and logs.
Education and Training:
High school graduate with secretarial skills.
Physical Demands:
No extraordinary physical demands required.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Receives visitors and assists them as may be required.
As soon as possible, greets visitors.
Assesses visitors' needs/desires.
Requests visitors to sign Visitor's Confidentiality Statement.
Provides information, direction and/or follow through.
Greets all new Resident admissions and connects them to the nursing staff to begin the admission process.
2.
Answers phones in a courteous and helpful manner.
Handles inquiries and using professional practices.
Responds to all telephone calls within four rings.
Projects a professional response.
Screens calls and is alert to employee availability and personnel assigned back-up.
Relays messages by phone or written communication.
3.
Supports management personnel by providing typing and general clerical assistance.
Establishes priorities for the typing of letters, memos and reports according to direction.
Conducts general clerical projects.
Copies and collates material.
Conducts basic research.
Assists in bulk mailings.
Assists the Human Resources Department by tracking and selling discounted tickets to Great Escape, Water Safari and The Wild Center Assists in registering individuals for trainings held at the Main Facility.
4.
Coordinates mail distribution including weighing and applying postage for out-going mail and UPS.
Assures postage supplies and stamp meter are maintained in a timely fashion.
Facilitates sender prepared out-going mail and packages according to schedule.

00 PM Maintains postage meter and submits requests for mail related payments.
Sorts and distributes all incoming mail daily.
5.
Customer Service Representative for the SJRC lunch Program since 2002.
Send out weekly menu, maintain lunch count, email dietary by 10:
30am daily with the count, balance and send weekly lunch funds deposit to the Finance Department.
6.
Responsible for own continued professional education, per Policy and Procedure Manual.
7.
Performs additional duties which help ensure the quality of resident services provided by the Center.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
