Cook (Seasonal) Camp Cooks prepare and cook a variety of foods such as meats, fish, vegetables, fruits, salads, and baked goods in the kitchen of a NYSDEC environmental education Summer Camp. Camp Cooks prepare and cook food, supervise a kitchen staff in meal preparation and cooking, and also in the cleaning of the kitchen and pantry areas. The Camp Cook may live on site and be part of the 24-hour Sunday-Friday camp program. The camp cook is responsible for the planning, cooking and serving (60-70 people) for.
